We supply Metal Detector ELS-800 to one of the largest tyre manufacturer worldwide and one of the world leading suppliers to the automotive industry for the tyre. Sesotec Metal Detector can assure that no metal contaminant inside their raw material (tyre). It detects all magnetic and non-magnetic metal contaminations (steel, stainless steel, aluminium) even if enclosed in the product. On detection of metal, a signal device and a separation system can be activated or a signal can be sent to process controlling. The closed design of the detector has the advantage to guarantee high metal sensibility within the detection head.

Client Back-story: specialised as a local Rubber, Plastic and Tire Machinery Solution Provider since 1994 and have served Rubber & Plastics Industries within & outside of Malaysia.

Reason of Purchase: 
To install a Metal Detector Machine with Conveyor Belts for their production auxiliary rubber machine.

Application:
To ensure that no foreign metal is found on their tyres. To avoid potential vehicle accidents or production hazards, beforehand. If there are any metallic anomalies in the plastic or rubber bulk, it will be 100% checked by the metal detector. Once detected, the metal detector will trigger an alarm and stop the conveyor belt, so that the production team can inspect properly for that particular bulk. The bulk consist of rubber that are raw materials used for making tyres. Try to imagine if a car tyre have a metallic object inside, what would happen? It’ll be hazardous! So, since a very tight requirement and standard on quality control without the foreign metal inside their rubber was need, our client had to comply and thus why they purchased Sesotec’s Metal Detector from us.
